KIDS CAMPS 2011!!

After the complete success of the 2010 Easter and Summer camps, we are returning this year with another fun and educational programme.  Time is whizzing past and we are getting super excited about the camps in July and August!

This year we are delighted to announce our new Teen Camps in July. Which will be a great opportunity for teens studying Spanish, who really want to get ahead with their conversational skills. There will be lots of opportunity to practice and to make friends and contacts for the future!

As before, we will be offering Swimming, Yoga and Tennis lessons. Games, Treasure hunts, Arts and Crafts. And after the great success of the end of camp performances, from the Musical ‘Grease’, you can expect more Singing, Dancing and Drama this year. As usual the emphasis will be on learning new words and phrases in English/Spanish, and making new friends.

The evening events for families worked really well last year, giving the parents a chance to meet and make connections. So this year we are planning to organise a meal and Traditional Music night again, for those interested.

The camp is open to every child of every nationality. An interest in learning Spanish or English is ideal, but not necessary as all language learning is done through play and drama. The camp is a great opportunity for children to mix with other nationalities, and many friendships were made at last years camps. Language is never a barrier for children, as they communicate in so many other ways with each other.

Places are booking out fast right now, and we do not take more than 20 children per camp. So to be sure of a place for your child in the Summer camp, please contact Liz or Monica and make your booking.

Families come from Spain for one week. From Monday to Friday 10 am to 3pm, the children are involved in camp activities, while their parents take in the local sights at their leisure or enjoy the relaxing environment at Moneylands. Trips and evening activities are also arranged for the families if required.

The Irish kids come to the camp from Monday to Friday 10 to 3pm. The children cook and prepare their own lunches, (ingredients all included), so there is no need for bringing packed lunch.

Moneylands is the perfect venue as it is safe, serene, has lots of outdoor space for games, tennis courts and for rainy days..which you have to expect in Ireland, there is the swimming pool and table tennis facility and lots of room for art, dance and other activities.

COST €100 per Child  (including lunch and all activities).
